It was announced on Wednesday on WWE.com that Renee Young will be appearing as a backstage interviewer on both Raw and Smackdown Live for the foreseeable future. Here’s the news from WWE.com as well as an Instagram post from Young about it.
No, your eyes and ears weren’t deceiving you: Longtime SmackDown LIVE interviewer Renee Young appeared on Raw this week and continued her duties on Team Blue. And she will be a fixture on both brands for the foreseeable future, WWE.com can confirm.
Here’s what Young posted on Instagram with Raw’s Charly Caruso.
In the wake of Talking Smack being canceled, Renee Young has had some fun with former co-host Daniel Bryan as they debuted this new video on Tout (remember Tout?) even though it was actually Twitter.

That was pretty funny. I think doing a few more minutes and putting it on WWE’s Youtube channel would be a better idea.
Analysis: I’m happy for Renee. I’m sure she’s happy about it because now she gets to see her husband Dean Ambrose at Raw since he was moved there from Smackdown in April. She’s very talented and the best interviewer WWE has. She also hosts the Kickoff shows on PPV broadcasts and does a great job of keeping that show organized.
