WWE News: “Brothers of Destruction” Documentary Premiering at Austin Film Festival, Will Air on WWE Network Nov. 15

The documentaries that WWE produced earlier this year regarding The Undertaker’s “Last Ride” were met with critical acclaim and loved by most WWE fans. It gave us insight into Mark Calaway’s incredible 30 year run as The Undertaker on WWE television.

The good news is there’s even more of Undertaker in documentary form and this time he’s bringing his fictional brother Kane with him.

It was announced by WWE today that the documentary will premiere at the Austin Film Festival on October 29 and then it will air on WWE Network for all of us to see on November 15. In addition to that, there’s going to be a “30 Days of The Deadman” celebration in honor of 30 years of Undertaker as well.

Here’s more info from WWE:

Brothers of Destruction, an upcoming WWE Network documentary about The Undertaker and Kane’s epic history in WWE, will make its world premiere at the Austin Film Festival.

As first reported by Variety, Brothers of Destruction will be shown Thursday, Oct. 29, closing out the final day of the festival. The documentary will then premiere on WWE Network on Sunday, Nov. 15, as part of 30 Days of The Deadman, a month-long celebration commemorating the 30-year anniversary of The Undertaker’s WWE debut.

The film breaks new ground, as cameras capture a candid discussion between The Undertaker and Kane about their storied careers for the first time. Intertwined since Kane was introduced as The Undertaker’s long-lost brother in 1997, The Big Red Machine and The Deadman have been both bitter enemies and fierce allies, but their relationship never failed to captivate the WWE Universe, resulting in one of sports-entertainment’s most incredible legacies.

The 27th Austin Film Festival & Conference, which will be virtual this year, runs Oct. 22-29. For more information, visit the festival’s website.

There’s no trailer video out yet, but that should be soon.

TJR Thoughts: It’s pretty cool that the documentary will premiere at the Austin Film Festival. I watch a lot of documentaries about different subjects and I truly believe WWE’s team does an amazing job with their documentaries. They know how to tell stories the right way, they are emotional when needed and I rarely have complaints after watching them. I look forward to seeing the Brothers of Destruction documentary when it’s on WWE Network next month.
