WWE Hall of Fame News: Edge and Christian to Induct The Dudley Boyz

It was announced on Wednesday that the tag team duo of Edge and Christian will induct the Dudley Boyz (Bubba Ray and D-Von) at the WWE Hall of Fame ceremony on April 6th in New Orleans, just two days before WrestleMania. It will be broadcast live on WWE Network. The role of the inductor is to give a speech about the inductees and it usually involves some jokes.

The story was officially broken two days ago by Bubba Ray Dudley on the Busted Open Radio Show on Monday. Bubba also talked about how they need to get all six members of the TLC history together on the stage, which means Matt and Jeff Hardy will be a part of it in some way as well. You can hear it yourself in the audio clip below.

The other members of the 2018 WWE Hall of Fame are: Bill Goldberg, The Dudley Boyz, Ivory, Jeff Jarrett, Hillbilly Jim, Mark Henry, Kid Rock and Warrior Award recipient Jarrius “JJ” Robertson.

There haven’t been any other names announced as inductors yet although the rumor is that Paul Heyman will be inducting Bill Goldberg.

Analysis: Great choice to have Edge and Christian induct the Dudleys due to their success as tag teams in WWE. I like Bubba’s idea of having the Hardy Boyz on stage with them as well. That will be a cool moment. Out of all the speeches at the Hall of Fame, I think Bubba Ray will be the best in this group. It should be full of laughs too.
