Updated Lineup for WWE Extreme Rules Including Seven Title Matches

The next WWE pay-per-view event is Extreme Rules on July 15 in Pittsburgh, PA. In past years, WWE did Extreme Rules events where nearly every match on the show had a stipulation on it. This year, all they’ve done so far is announce one Extreme Rules match and an Ironman match as well. The card is nearly complete following this week of Monday Night Raw and Smackdown Live.

There are eight matches official right now. Seven of them are title matches. The only main roster title that’s missing? The Universal Championship held by Brock Lesnar, of course.

WWE Championship: AJ Styles vs. Rusev

Intercontinental Championship 30-Minute Ironman Match: Dolph Ziggler vs. Seth Rollins

Roman Reigns vs. Bobby Lashley

Raw Women’s Championship Extreme Rules Match: Alexa Bliss vs. Nia Jax

Smackdown Tag Team Championships: The Bludgeon Brothers (Harper and Rowan) vs. Team Hell No (Kane and Daniel Bryan)

United States Championship: Jeff Hardy vs. Shinsuke Nakamura

Smackdown Women’s Championship: Carmella vs. Asuka

Raw Tag Team Championships: Matt Hardy and Bray Wyatt vs. The B Team (Curtis Axel and Bo Dallas)

I think there will be two more matches that will be added next week on Raw:

* Braun Strowman vs. Kevin Owens – This is rumored to be a steel cage match based on the idea that Owens lost by countout on purpose this week on Raw, so putting them in a cage will prevent Owens from running away from a beating.

* Baron Corbin vs. Finn Balor – It’s obvious that this is the direction that they are going in after the last two weeks on Raw.

That’s 10 matches. Money in the Bank last month had 11 matches counting the Kickoff Show, so if there’s going to be one more then it might be Sanity vs. New Day based on what happened on Smackdown this week.

It’s a solid card. I think the lack of stipulations hurts a bit, but we might get more of those added next week to spice things up a bit.
